Yes, tis true, this is a special edition of VM. I used the same numbering, as if there was a VM every week, but there was not. We have not had an issue since the end of 2006. I cannot be the editor, anymore. VM could continue with an editor. Is it you? Do you know of someone?

Happy thanksgiving to you! Remember to thank HIM!
For Lighterside: I would like to bring you back to this oldie in VM259

We think there are a few very important issues this week, and want to make sure that some of our friends are aware.

We have an election in the province of Ontario, this Wednesday the 10th. During that election, we will have a referendum. Do you know the issue? The question? We will try to provide you with some information.

While doing so – we will want to notify you that there are some good people running in YOUR riding. In fact there are three men, all members of the Virtual ministry family. Read about the FCP below. Our three family members and know who is running in your riding.

Finally, “gardasil” – are you aware? Here at work, they tell me that I am just TOO RIGHT WING. Is Macleans a right wing magazine? Just read the story, below SITE of the WEEK!

SITE of the WEEK

Fr Raymond de Souza, spoke at a men’s breakfast yesterday. I was at the same table as Bob DuBroy, we spoke of CHRI, CRTC and other radio stuff. Good timing for him to get this as site of the week

Bob would like you to read this document.

Brother Guy Dacquay was shocked to find out that a 500 signature petition, is only worth one letter to the CRTC.

GARDASIL

Ontario is making it mandatory vaccination for grade 8s. The whole country is making it a mandatory vaccination in different grades.

I hope that before any decision is ever done for this - that you have researched it thoroughly there is enough stuff out there warning against it ... be AWARE

Here is the story in Macleans {Aug 27, 2007} had this story in it last week: http://www.macleans.ca/science/health/article.jsp?content=20070827_108312_108312

Earlier, I had mentioned the three brothers that are all members of the VM family. They are Jeremy Atkinson; David MacDonald; & John Pacheco. Are you on john’s mailing list? Do you know of his site?

I urge you – go to his sites for a visit! You will see stuff like:

Preaching in Front of the Caesars: Earlier this week, my Good friend and Catholic music artist, David MacDonald, delivered one of the most powerful pro-life witnesses to a politician I have ever witnessed in a debate. David is the FCP
Candidate who is running against Dalton McGuinty in Ottawa South. In 2003, I sternly rebuked McGuinty's "Kennedy Katholicism" during an all-candidate's debate. Click here to listen.
Four years later, Mr. McGuinty still can't figure out that he cannot separate his faith from his politics. He must be true to both areas of his life. He represents the typical schizo politician who wants to personally believe something while publicly standing for the opposite position. This is a sham and a lie.

I live in Ottawa Centre, and many of you including Danny Moran, church there. Danny is our FCP candidate.

For the rest of the surrounding area – well go have a look yourself:

Steven Gonzalez

Hi everybody,

Christians from across North America are uniting for a period of 40 days of prayer, fasting and witnessing for the pro-life cause. It’s called 40 Days For Life and it goes from September 26 to November 4.

This is a great opportunity to make a big difference in fighting the culture of death. I believe that as the People of God, we have not applied ourselves sufficiently to prayer and fasting as a means to advance the pro-life cause. The social ills that affect our nation find their root cause in the spiritual realm. Consequently, the most effective way to fight them is to use spiritual methods, especially the Mass and Adoration. However, our materialistic society has made us so reluctant to pray and especially to fast, thus robbing us of powerful weapons in the battle. It’s time to take corrective action.

Remember that Christ said that some demons can only be cast out by prayer and fasting (Matt 17:21).
You can read more at www.40daysforlife.com/about.cfm

For those of you that live in Ontario, election day is near at hand. Please vote for candidates that support pro-life values. Information on candidate’s positions will be posted here soon: http://campaignlifecoalition.com/elections/provincial/Ontario/2007/

Take care.

Editor’s note – IT IS TOO LATE for the start of this period – if you didn’t start then – start now for your own 40 days
