The Companions of the Cross, will be hosting a day for the whole
family at Bearbrook Farm on Saturday October 28th. There will

a conference on October 10 and 11 (one evening in French and
the other in English). The attached

Men of the Ottawa Diocese
I am writing you to extend an invitation to
you to join us for a Men's Breakfast at Annunciation of Our
Lord Parish on November 18, 2006 from 8:15 – 10:30 am. Our speaker
is the honourable Jack Murta a former cabinet minister in the
Clarke and Mulroney governments. Jack is presently leading the
parliamentary prayer breakfasts for MP's and other hill staff.
Jack is an exciting speaker and will be sharing with us, amongst
other things, his journey from the United church to the Catholic
faith.
We fully expect this event to be a SOLD OUT event. We will
have limited seating so we encourage you to register well in
advance to avoid disappointment. Tickets will be scarce and
unfortunately we cannot guarantee tickets to be available at
the door due to the planning required for preparing breakfast
etc.
Please respond to this email if you would like to register
for this breakfast. No payments will be taken in advance, so
please pay at the door. Regular price of tickets is $10 - students
$5.

“The Gathering", City Wide Worship &
Prayer, Sat. OCT-28, 7 pm
This is an event that is calling all Ottawa-area
Christians to gather once a year in common worship and prayer
(at Scotiabank Place). OC Transpo will be running buses. This
is the 3rd year that "The Gathering" has happened
and has been growing each year, but this year will test Ottawa
to see if the idea will continue and truly be a yearly event.
