Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ,
I am Br. Patrick Mary Medina. I am a religious
seminarian. Please pray for me because I am in
a state of crisis and I am really really discouraged. I hope
to be ordained as a deacon in our holy catholic church this
November. My problem is that I am having difficulties with my
theological subjects. I am afraid that this might be
an impediment to my ordination. PLEASE PRAY THAT MY ORDINATION
TO THE DIACONATE WOULD PUSH THROUGH THIS NOVEMBER AND THAT I
WOULD BE ABLE TO OVERCOME ALL THE DIFFICULTIES AND OBSTACLES
VIS A VIS MY ORDINATION. I am really afraid. I hope to continue
on with my vocation to the priesthood. Thank you so much and
I would always pray for you!
In the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, Br. Patrick

Aloha Saints,
Here's an opportunity for united prayer for
our deploying armed forces and for world peace. It's also an
opportunity for ecumenism and a bit of evangelization. Please
consider this opportunity and also share this message with others...
Mahalo and God's Blessings, Steve & Caroline Odo
Dear Mr. Steve Odo,
... This is a rare opportunity to support
our troops at the invitation of the United States Army. The
State of Hawaii is going to have the biggest deployment since
the Vietnam War. This summer 8,000 troops will be deploying
from the Hawaiian Islands. Major General
Mixon, 25th Infantry Division, has asked the local churches
to join in prayer for successful missions and their safe return.
Already, over 3,000 troops have been deployed to Iraq. There
are so many victims of post traumatic
stress disorder. Since the Iraq war, the rate of failed
marriages has risen to 70%. There are so many soldiers
that have lost arms and legs, some
of them have lost both. Their personal sacrifices are great.
Yet, at this very moment, America's armed forces, both men and
women stand strong ready to lay down their lives fighting against
terrorism and Muslim fascism for you and me.
God has given the United States a divine
assignment throughout her history. She has been involved with
major wars even global disasters. God has used the U.S. through
the Military to liberate countries from evil dictatorships and
bring freedom to a troubled world, often opening the
door for the gospel of Christ. The churches are
at the frontlines when we are a nation at war. We have failed
to stand in the gap to pray and welcome the troops home from
the Vietnam War. I pray this time we will accomplish God's calling
to support the United States of America's mission and to pray
for the troops until God's purpose is fulfilled. Please keep
Hawaii's troops in a place in your heart and in your daily prayers.
And please ask your congregation to pray with you.
The Lord has given me Deuteronomy 20: 1-4.
Our weapons are not guns, tanks, or the newest technology; instead
we will unite in prayer and call upon God to fight on our behalf.
I believe Almighty
God is calling us to pray with new fervency for our troops at
this time. Hawaii will be blessed with an uncommon harvest and
the healing of the land...
May God bless you,
