Please pray for my Mother Sylvia. We have a piece of property at home, which we are trying to sell. There is an interested buyer, but one neighbour has been encroaching on our property and is giving us problems. One buyer has already backed out partially because of her. This is causing my Mom undue stress. She is 92. We have the papers to prove that the land belongs to us so I do not know what her problem is. Please pray that this matter is resolved soon and that justice prevails.

I never knew that Presentation Ministries did Intercessory prayer. Please see the attached. There is such a need for Intercessory prayer these days. Father John spoke of the Countries where there is great poverty, during Mass on Visions this morning. Did you ever stop and realise that those same Countries are the ones where there is the highest occult involvement? Africa, South America and Haiti. Haiti had been dedicated to the devil for one hundred years. I have been told that that dedication was renewed after the hundred years were up. My first thought was that God and the devil cannot co-exist so what could we possibly do to help those Countries. Then I remembered that God calls us to 'stand in the gap' for others. Sometime ago I had adjusted the Prayer of Daniel when he was 'standing in the gap' for Israel, using it to pray for Canada. (Please click here). I encourage you to pray this prayer, of any other you feel comfortable with, while 'standing in the gap' for these Countries, which are in 'dire straights'.

Please pray for Regina Doman, author of several Catholic young adult and children’s books, including “Angel in the Waters", and the mother of six children. She had a tragic accident July 8th, accidentally reversing her car over her 4-year-old son, Joshua. He was critically injured and died.

The below prayer request comes from friends of ours in Virginia who know this family. Please pray for this boy's soul and for his devastated family. Please ask others to pray for them as well.

Summer Job Opportunity!

I was wondering if you could pass this on for me?
I am looking to hire one staff (minimum 17 years of age) to work in our Summer Alpha Program. It's not a Christian program, but a community based recreation program run by the City of Ottawa.

It's comprised of a morning program for preschoolers aged 2 to 5 and an afternoon program for children aged 6 to 12. It runs from Monday to Friday from 8:45am until 4:15pm and staff is given a one-hour lunch break between the 2 programs. Salary ranges from $9 - $10/hour and the location would be the former City of Nepean area, more specifically in the Baseline/Fisher and Parkwood Hills communities. Candidates must possess current First Aid and CPR certification as well as be able to obtain a Police Record Check.

If anyone is interested, they could contact me at the number below. We are hoping to have someone in place as early as Monday, July 17th and the position would run until Friday, August 25th.
