Dear Friends and Supporters,

This semester we are once again holding our "24-7 National Intercession for Campus Evangelization" prayer initiative from Feb 27th to March 5th, and we are asking for your support.

We all know that without prayer our work is fruitless. And without prayer conversion doesn't happen. The Lord asks for us to pray and intercede for the people in our lives who don't know Him and to pray for all through out the world don't know Him.

University students in Canada need your prayers. During the week of February 27th many students on campuses through out Canada will be given the opportunity to make a personal commitment to Christ. Pope John Paul II said, "The proclamation of the Word of God has Christian conversion as its aim. Conversion means accepting, by a personal decision, the saving sovereignty of Christ and becoming his disciple."

Please join us as we pray that all students will accept the saving sovereignty of Christ. Like last time we are asking you to make a commitment to 1/2 hour or more to pray.

You can sign up and get more information on our website at: http://www.cco.ca/24-7.htm.

Thank you for your commitment to me and to the students of Canada.

Blessings,

Jackie

P.S. please be patient with us as we try to spread the word about 24-7, as you will probably receive more than one email about this.

and

Jim you have probably already seen this, but just in case you haven't I thought this might be a good one to post on Virtual Ministry. The article has some very quick points which is very helpful for all Christians in repudiating Dan Browns' Film http://www.queenofpeace.ca/Boycott_Da_Vinci.htm

Is SOMETHING BOTHERING YOU and WORRYING YOU? Then check out this PowerPoint presentation and think!!! "Something Bothering You?"

Dear Friends,

Thank you to those who have already made contact with me and have offered your containers. Every little bit helps.

Just to let you know there are two large bins, red and green, under the shelves in the kitchen, that Joan has provided, for your empty unscented containers. Please put your name on them if you would like them returned. You may wish to bring them on the day of, if they are in the process of being used. If you would rather not part with your products, would then send me the name, brand and where you purchased it (if you can remember). If you are unable to get into the kitchen when you are there, just put them next to the lost and found box (which is on the ledge people like to sit on next to the kitchen).

Your participation is most appreciated. We may surprise each other how easy it is to go green and unscented! Taking care of the earth and caring for our bodies as God's temple...what good stewards we are!

Bless you, your families and your endeavours!

carole_lebel@yahoo.ca wrote: Hello, Dear Friends!

I'm wondering if you would like to help with this display I plan for March 5th by bringing in the products you are currently using that are unscented. The containers can be full (with your name on it for safe return), or empty ones you may accumulate until then, for personal care, laundry, housekeeping, etc. Should you not have any to part with at this time, then please consider sending me the name of the product, brand, where you purchased it, and other places it may be available, if you can. I'll compile a list for the beginner, with some helpful tips and web sites. The wide range of products and their availability might surprise people, taking out some of the mystery to using them.

My hope is to help answer some of the enquires made recently, and to encourage their use among those who are perhaps more hesitant...let's make it easy for everyone and breathe comfortably!

Thanks for your help. They can be dropped off that Sunday, March 5th, or I'll find a place to keep a box for easy drop off...the kitchen comes to mind. I'll get back to you.

Blessings upon you and your family and your endeavours.
Kind regards, Carole

Tough Love vs. Spanking (you will have to go to lighterside to see the attachment)

Most of America's populace thinks it very improper to spank children, so I have tried other methods to control our kids when they have one of "those moments".

One that I found very effective is for me to just take the child for a car ride and talk.

They usually calm down and stop misbehaving after our little car ride together.

I've included the photo below of one of my sessions, with our son, in case you would like to use the technique.

It’s very effective!
