I want
to encourage you to go to Graham's Corner to see past issues that
you may have missed, especially the statement against legalizing
euthanasia. Have you seen it?
In Graham's Corner this week, are links to a short
summary of the Encyclical (3 pages), the text of the Encyclical
(25 pages) and the text of a short address by the Pope on the
Encyclical (3 pages).
Our mailing list was destroyed somewhat, and we
are trying to honour and respect all requests that we had. You
see, some of you asked to be reminded that, there was a weekly
update and others didn’t. Please be patient with us as we try
to rebuild that list. If we send you a reminder and you didn’t
want to be on that list, just gently respond to that effect. Tell
others, we are back. Welcome back last week we had 125 visitors,
where we had fallen to only 30 in the month.
Please join me in thanking our first Webmaster.
Todd Winn has been working on making us web friendly since Jan.
30th 2004. Yes that is 100 editions ago. If you want to say hello
and thank him, please do so at twinn@virtualministry.com
Dan’s Keyboard will be back up and running soon.
For now – go have a visit and see his last entry about why he
was home schooled and something that he last posted in December
about: Plenary Indulgence Attainable on Dec. 8.
Doug Lambe has sent us a couple for this week’s
lighterside contribution, an oldie that we will call Everything
happens for a Reason, and a link to a more modern version of another
oldie “As I Mature”.
We welcome your comments about our new look! Carla
K – you out there? Have you noticed our “archives” at the top
of the other pages? |

Please go to the current poll at: www.ctv.ca

Keep it illegal!
It is compassionate help!

This poll is related to the fact that the sentence

Fariala is coming down today.

Our good friends Bas & Helen Houlahan have asked
that, we let them know how the elections went. With such things
as how many seats per party per province. So we sent this [Site

Final thanks from our Candidate
Dear supporters and residents of Ottawa West Nepean,
I want to take this opportunity to thank you all
for your moral, spiritual, and financial support over the last
few weeks. Despite having run a campaign on a modest budget and
a handful of part-time volunteers, our campaign which really only
kicked off in the new year, garnered a respectable 905 votes or
1.5% of ballots cast. Independent candidates in this election
received an average of 254 votes. Although we were not successful
in accomplishing our goal, our campaign team gained valuable experience
for future political battles. Over the course of this year, I
will be dialoguing with other social conservative leaders across
the country about launching an organized social conservative political
movement with the aim of impacting the culture at large as well
as providing a political means to move our country to the right.
Throughout the campaign, we received many encouraging
signs. Many callers to our campaign thanked us for giving them
a conscientious choice and a outlet of hope. And that, in the
end, is what we were really selling. Hope. Hope for our country,
for our children, for mom and dad, and for their marriage. Unlike
the other campaigns, which valued power over principle, our campaign
was about Canada's future and sustaining its families. Our presence
reminded those who worked for the other parties that politics
is at the service of the common good of our society. It is not
simply about a tax credit or a day care space. It is about sustaining
and nurturing the basic building block of society – the traditional
family - and recognizing the glue (marriage), which keeps it all
together. No amount of peripheral policies, however financially
beneficial to families, will alter the fundamental problems facing
our nation's families if it jettisons marriage.
Canada will not survive if it turns its back on
the family. It will disintegrate. It will turn in on itself in
selfishness and envy. Where the traditional family once fostered
love, sacrifice, generosity, and respect, the break up of it will
foster the opposite: hatred, selfishness, greed, and contempt.
The family is a mini-civilization, a mini nation where we learn
to become civilized and decent people. But if that family is in
a perpetual state of division and redefinition, what hope does
Canada have? As the family goes, so goes the country.
There is still time, Canada. Please turn back.
God bless and protect our country.
Yours very truly,

Here is an
interesting post election information.
Why did Paul Martin want to pass a homosexual
bill so badly?
He is not known to be a homosexual, so why is
he so interested in this issue, which effects less than 5% of
the Canadian population?
Is it possible that Mr. Martin is being influenced
to do this for motives which are outside of his own?
Have you ever heard of a man named Maurice Strong?
Maurice Strong hired Paul Martin to work for him
when Paul was fresh out of university. Later Maurice helped Paul
obtain his own corporation "Canada Steamship Lines."
Maurice has been Paul's good friend and mentor
for many years now.
Who is Maurice Strong?
Go to www.torontofreepress.com/2005/edesk042305.htm
for a great recent article about him
FACT - Maurice Strong is a very rich and powerful
man.
FACT - Maurice Strong and his wife Hanne have
a community in Colorado called Baca Grande, "a Mecca for mystics,"
which they hope will become the "Vatican of the New World Order."
(his own words in quotation marks)
FACT - Maurice Strong professes to be an adherent
of the Bahai World faith and his wife is an open worshipper of
Gaia.
FACT - Gaia is a Mother Earth cult. Survivors
report ritual sexual abuse of children, torture, and even murder.
Henry Lamb, a long time observer of Maurice Strong writes, "Strong
has integrated the Gaia idea into the political institutions of
the world through the UNEP and its affiliated governmental and
non-governmental organizations."
FACT - Strong is currently directing the U.N.
"reform" effort and helping to implement an "Earth Charter," in
coordination with former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev. The
document calls for the protection of "Mother Earth". His work
for the U.N. has earned Strong the title "Father Earth." The "Earth
Charter." Promotes abortion, homosexuality and other methods of
depopulation. The goal is to keep the planet uncontaminated by
humans for the exclusive use of animals. Check out article www.lifesite.net/ldn/2002/sep/02091201.html
FACT - Maurice Strong became president of the
Better World Society in 1988. Strong’s good friend Ted Turner
started this organization, who stated, "Christianity is a religion
for losers...The Ten Commandments are obsolete." The Better World
Society presented a "Population Stabilization Medal" to the United
Nations Fund for Population Activities, which helped underwrite
Communist China's population control program of forced abortions,
involuntary sterilization and infanticide.
Homosexuality is not the main issue for Maurice
Strong. The main issue is depopulating the world. The belief is
that the world has too many people. Homosexuality suits their
worldview very well because homosexuality leads to death. No more
reproduction of the human species takes place if the whole population
takes up this lifestyle. Population reduction is achieved.

what he really stands for check out www.fathersforlife.org/culture/kyoto_connection.htm

who is on the platform. Look behind the man to see who is pulling
the puppet strings. |
