Cathy Egan wants you to go to lighterside and see some interesting facts about "Remembrance Day". Don't be too offended that there is more of an American slant on it. We should probably call it Veteran's Day.

Just a quick note to say "Thank you" to all of you who have helped and supported me (and my family) over the past months in my search to find a new job. I know that this task was made easier by all of the help, prayers, advice and encouragement that each one of you have offered.

Also, urgent prayers are needed for a young woman named Anik and her son Carlo. Anik, who has muscular distrophy, gave birth to Carlo last week. Carlo was born at just over 3lbs. He has an enlarged heart and a leaky valve and has recently come down with pneumonia. On top of that the hospital feels that Anik is well enough to go home but she lives far away from the General Hospital.

Please keep Carlo and his parents Anik and Jean-Claude in your prayers.
