Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ: Thank you to everyone who has registered to pray for Maryvale. The fruit of our prayers is all around us! I would ask everyone to please go to the Lord in Thanksgiving with grateful hearts. Thank Him for our new school and the great work that He is accomplishing for our children. He wants us to thank Him, to love Him, to draw close to Him. He will provide all that is needed for His children (and that includes we adults!). The website including the Prayer Schedules have been updated as of June 30th. If I have missed anyone in the schedules, please let me know. Here is a synopsis: Masses – Thank you to all the priests who are offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for Maryvale Academy. Every day of the week is now covered except for Thursday. http://www.holyfamilyinstitute.ca/Prayer/Pray_Mass.htm We are appreciative also, of individuals who would arrange for an announced intention for Maryvale. If you would like to do this, please let me know and I will add it to our log. Adoration – we thank God that each day of the week one person is going before the Lord for one hour of Adoration for Maryvale. If it is on your heart to spend more time with the Lord, this is a beautiful and powerful way to do it. Our Lord is so happy to have us get to know Him in the Blessed Sacrament and he blesses us abundantly through it. The commitment would be for one hour, one day a week until school opens. Here is the updated schedule : http://www.holyfamilyinstitute.ca/Prayer/Pray_Adoration.htm Fasting – 14 people have committed to fasting and for this we praise God! Our goal is to have each day covered from now until Maryvale opens in September. So to sign up means that you would be fasting for two days: one day in July and one day in August. Please take this to prayer and see if the Lord is calling you to come closer to him through fasting for Maryvale. Here are more details and the current schedule: http://www.holyfamilyinstitute.ca/Prayer/Pray_Fasting.htm Prayers – God Bless all the families who have signed up to pray regularly for Maryvale. Let me know if this is something you want to do. More details as well as the prayer log are here: http://www.holyfamilyinstitute.ca/Prayer/Pray_Prayers.htm
Peace of Christ to you and your families! Patricia Klambauer Prayer Cover Coordinator Maryvale Academy
