You have indicated an interest in quality, wholesome, family entertainment - like the movies Joshua and I Am David.  Last Friday, February 18^th another true family film came to theatres nationwide:  Because of Winn-Dixie.

Because of Winn-Dixie is the type of movie that you wish Hollywood would make all the time.  Because of Winn-Dixie celebrates those things that are most precious to us all - family, love of neighbour, and faith. 

Jeff Daniels, Eva Marie Saint, Cicely Tyson and Dave Matthews star in this wonderful film that begins with a prayer.  A little girl (Anna Sophia Robb) prays to God for Him to help her make some friends.  Her prayer is answered in many delightful and touching ways.

More than a Movie

Because of Winn-Dixie is a great movie - even the critics agree.  But it so much more.  It is a remembrance of how wonderful movies once were.  When children, parents and grandparents could all watch a film together, with everyone being entertained, and with themes and lessons that could be discussed during the ride home or at the dinner table for years to come.

Your time is precious.  If possible, please take the time this weekend to see this precious film.  You will be glad that you did.
