HMMMMM decisions, decisions!!!!

What should I do?

You see folks - I am wondering.

*Who reads this?*  There are no answers coming in.

There are requests / needs / and even contests {with offered prizes}.

Do replies come in?

So, I thought of having this issue just be a survey or something.  My decision is that I make it clear to you, that we need to know that you are out there.  We need to know about the features that you like, and MAYBE more importantly, those that you don’t.  How many of the pages at the top, have you visited?

Try this - go to the past issues [vm227] “GO”.  Half way down the page, go to the Valentine’s day message. I had planned to have people ask questions, none did! There was a contest, and a prize, and yet - NO WINNER {in fact - no responses}

PLEASE LET US KNOW at james117@virtualministry.com

OKAY - for now  - that is enough ...

Just before I go on to send you all of the, quotes / linKs and other such announcements, I want to say that as I am trying to deal with this ‘strike’ stuff, I have gone to one of Pope Leo XIII’s encyclicals. This is the SITE of the WEEK: http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/leo_xiii/encyclicals/index.htm

Can you find  “RERUM NOVARUM” ?

Speaking about - what did you notice ... please click here to read Bas & Helen Houlahan’s letter.  Last week we included the plea {without this letter of explanation}. Here is the plea.

So, do you read Cindy’s Reflections?  Have you been following? Know what she has gone through?  Cindy Radosevich, is an Oncologist in Illinois {near Chicago, I think}.  She has met Liana Gallant and Anne Charron, electronically.

Well, she has just gone through her own first ever operation, and I think {especially for you people that love the way that hospitals work}, her sharing of the experience is worth the read.  Click here:  to read the whole story.

From: Morris,John ... Please post on virtual Ministry.

We at www.CatechismClass.com are proud to announce the debut of the much anticipated, highly requested, and very much in demand, online ADULT EDUCATION program. This Adult Ed program, affectionately called The Disciple, is fresh out of the R&D department after careful planning,

construction, and sculpting by our very best theologians. We're sure you're going to find this experience one which not only guides you on your exploration of your Catholic Faith, but actually brings you to a deeper understanding of the beauty, magnificence, and simple complexity of this 2000 year old Church.

Classes start this Monday, October 4, 2004, and you can sign up right now at  http://www.catechismclass.com/select_package.php. Once you're enrolled the process allows you the flexibility to keep up with the lessons of your choice, drop off when life is too hectic, and pick right up again without really missing a beat, any time. Because this entire program is Lectionary driven, Catechism based, it is always current, always relevant, and always in conformity with the Liturgical Year.

Over 85% of you who visit the site begged, pleaded, and implored us to develop a solid, online Adult Education Program which could be used independently or in conjunction with a parish RCIA program.  If you are an adult interested in continuing your faith formation and your Catholic education, or if you are a Catechumen/Candidate wishing to augment your parish R.C.I.A.  involvement, sign up for this online course now!

What a relief.  Now, on your own time, in the comfort of your own home, and without the embarrassment of having to whisper things like, "what does Real Presence or Transubstantiation actually mean," or better, "what don't they mean?" you can learn most of what you need to know about being or becoming a Catholic.

Taking part in this online Adult Ed program will prepare you for your journey to becoming, and remaining, a Catholic.  (Note: Since RCIA is all about being formally initiated into the Faith Community, there are some aspects of RCIA that can only be fulfilled within your home parish.  We encourage you to get involved in your local parish activities, seek the help of your parish priest, and get all the details for your particular parish initiation process.)

At St Mary’s anneegan@virtualministry.com is the RCIA contact.

For the rest of you faithful cradle Catholics who took a hiatus from formal Faith investigation after sixth or twelfth grade, start catching up, right now.

SACRAMENTAL PREP: RECONCILIATION, FIRST COMMUNION & CONFIRMATION

The second most popular request from our site visitors was to incorporate Sacramental Preparation for Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation into the complete CatechismClass.com educational process.  These programs are currently in R & D, but we've prompted our theologians to work twice as hard to have these programs ready to go by November 1st.  These courses will work in conjunction with our daily Lectionism lessons and will teach your child everything he/she needs to know to prepare to receive the Sacraments.  If you are already signed up for one of our courses, these additions will be FREE to you! If you are not currently a subscriber, there will be a $20 fee for each Sacramental Prep course.

Subject: Legal advice sought....

This is probably not a 'usual' request you receive, but we wanted to get some legal advice (particularily about writing a will).  Do you know any Cursillista who practices Estate law in Quebec?

Hey Folks - this event is 15 years old. The only thing that I am certain, is that there will be a new eMCee, this year.
