Hello,

  I have been asked to co-ordinate the St. Mary's All Saints Eve Party this year for Sunday October 31st. I have had an announcement in the bulletin for 2 weeks and I have had hardly any response. If I don't get volunteers by early next week I will cancel this year’s event.

I need people in the following area's:

1) Registration after the 9:15 and 11:00 AM Masses. This includes taking names of families and collecting candy. (1 or 2 for each mass on Oct 17th , 24th and 31st).

2) Set up. I need people there early to set up the hall for the festivities  (5 people)

3) Candy distribution - each child goes home with a bag of candy, we need to take the collected candy and distribute it into the bags (5 people).

4) Hot dog Supper. We normally precede the event with a hot dog supper. I need someone to co-ordinate this as well as staff to work in the kitchen (5 people)

5) Games - I need someone to organize and run the games. We usually have about 10 different games and each game requires 1 or 2 people to run it.  (Total 15-20 people).

6) cleanup - I need people to stay behind to clean up the hall (10 people)

7) program - I need someone to put together a program for the young people and provide musical, instructional and dramatic entertainment. (10 people)

Therefore to make this happen I need 7 leaders and about 30 people (Some people can do multiple tasks). So far I have 5. Therefore I am begging people to let me know if you are willing to help.
