St. Mary's Parish seeks a Youth
Minister Coordinator
to develop and sustain a program of ministry to
youth aged 4 to 35.
The successful candidate will be responsible
for:
1. Engaging directly in ministry to the youth.
2. Training,
supporting, and supervising youth ministry leaders.
3. Coordinating
programs with ministries in other parishes.
This is a full time
paid position. Salary is
commensurate with experience, and in the range
of $27,000-$36,000 CAD per year.
If you are a dynamic leader with a
heart for the youth
of the Church, we are looking for the following
qualities in you:
A Roman Catholic in good standing, upholding an
orthodox Catholic faith life, including active prayer and sacramental
life.
A heartfelt concern for young people, and the ability to get
along well with almost anyone. Demonstrated leadership including teaching,
organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and
motivational training of others.
Some post-secondary education,
preferably in a field related to Catholic Youth Ministry. Experience in
youth minsitry, preferably parish based, or a commitment
to pursue
training as a condition of being hired.
