WHOSE JOB IS IT?????

i am almost thinking of regretting to all of you who've heard this from me before ... but i wont

the following is a little story that i have used before:

This is a story about four people named EVERYBODY, SOMEBODY, ANYBODY, and NOBODY. There was an important job to be done and EVERYBODY was asked to do it. EVERYBODY was sure that SOMEBODY would do it. ANYBODY could have done it, but NOBODY did it. SOMEBODY got angry about that, because it was EVERYBODY's job. EVERYBODY thought ANYBODY could do it but NOBODY realized that EVERYBODY wouldn't do it. It ended up that EVERYBODY blamed SOMEBODY when NOBODY did what ANYBODY could have done.

i am sending it now because i have had no responses to a little problem that we have in our parish {and for those of you out of towners - sorry that you have to go through this but!}

for a few weeks in a row - i have asked about helping a family in need on saturday june 16th ... this family consists of dad with a bad back, a tiny mom , and three little children. they moved out of their home a few weeks ago. the new house wasn't ready yet. they moved in with family, while their belongings remained in a moving van. the family is ready to move in to their new digs on june 16th. the truck will be there and will only need to emptied (many hands lessen the load). If you have prayed about this and are unable to help - so be it and God Bless You. However, if you have forgotten to pray or have just decided that you would rather do something else - think again...

Please join me in helping your brothers and sisters in this time of need. Don't let the size of the truck in the picture scare you - it was my only option. Our truck will not be that size.

James 1:17
